Married September 10th 2005 - Still No Wedding Album From Laszlo Marton Studios

We've been in direct contact with Lazslo Marton Studios for more than two years and he still hasn't delivered our wedding album. After paying him thousands of dollars to cover our wedding, he tells us that he doesn't have the money to have our wedding album printed.

This tells me that when you use him, he will use your money to cover costs of services he owes others and then you will have to wait for your pictures and wedding album. Currently that wait is 27 months and counting.

He actually offered to take pictures of our newborn daughter as compensation for the lack of a wedding album. (That's right, we've actually had a kid in the time it's taken Laszlo to get us our album.) Are you for real!! Like we're going to have you take more pictures of precious moments that we'll never see produced.

It's no wonder the guy can't afford the wedding business as he has all of these other "projects". They range from barn wood tables to garlic production and a store front in Galena. That's where our money went- to these products. Makes me wonder who else Laszlo owes money to.

Our experience with Laszlo Marton was comical. He had ridiculous requests- my favorite was that he had to eat at a table at our reception- apparently needs a free meal.

If you can't find a photographer that focuses on weddings and can honestly say that they have delivered every album they ever shot, hire a college student.

I also question his client list. If The Weather Channel knew that he was using their name as a client, I am sure a cease and desist letter would come from their corporate offices in Atlanta. Why would TWC use a wedding photographer out of Chicago for their events? Their only Chicago office is a sales office, they don't even host events here.
